Chris Candiello has been with Consigli since 2017 and brings over 25 years of experience in the higher education market. Candiello will oversee complex higher education projects and continue to lead and expand Consigli’s presence in the higher education market in the Mid-Atlantic region. Prior to joining Consigli, he served in facilities project management roles at both Tufts University and Harvard University. Candiello currently oversees the new SNF Agora building at Johns Hopkins University, Smith Hall Renovation at Towson University and Farrand House at Dumbarton Oaks.

As a 27-year industry veteran, Joe Ockershausen joins Consigli from a local mid-size general contractor and has overseen projects of varying sizes and complexities in D.C., Maryland and Virginia. He will focus on leading and growing Consigli’s public and residential/mixed use markets. Joe is already overseeing the Design-Build renovation and expansion of Adams Education Campus School, a historic school that was the first in the country to implement a bilingual program. Most notably, Joe recently oversaw the expansion of the D.C. Courts building and construction of the Tucker Road Ice Rink in Fort Washington, Md.

Jared Geary has over 15 years of local industry experience and joins Consigli from a local general contractor. He has successfully overseen various life science and healthcare construction projects of different sizes and scopes across the Mid-Atlantic region. He began his career as a Superintendent for a major home builder in Baltimore, Md. He then moved to a large general contractor where he established its small project division with the capacity to construct over 100 projects a year. Jared’s background in operations will help to grow Consigli’s special projects division while also expanding its portfolio in the life sciences and healthcare markets.

Moran brings a wealth of experience having led complex projects throughout the city of Boston, New York City, and Philadelphia. These projects span across all markets including commercial, residential, hospitality, life sciences, cultural, and academic. As Project Executive at Consigli, Moran will be responsible for project pursuits as well as team management and delivery of projects from pre-construction to closeout.

In his role as project executive, McCullough will be responsible for team management and delivery of projects from pre-construction to closeout and will assist with business development in the life sciences market.  His previous experience in project planning, construction pricing and project scheduling have well prepared him for this role. McCullough has extensive experience working on life sciences, condominiums, higher education residence halls, commercial office buildings, mixed-use buildings, and pharmaceutical projects. He has an expertise in project planning, construction pricing and project scheduling.

Ball comes to Consigli with 30 years of diverse construction industry experience ranging from heavy civil to large scale pharmaceutical manufacturing projects that include renovations, new construction and significant infrastructure projects. Ball received his Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from Wentworth Institute of Technology.

Consigli’s life science team had completed in excess of 2.5 million square feet of projects over the last five years and has extensive experience working both within occupied R&D facilities as well as new construction. The team has completed several significant projects for some of the most prestigious research institutions in the New England and Mid-Atlantic regions. The group has worked on cGMP facilities, research laboratories and in-depth infrastructure projects to support laboratory operations.

In his role, Ciancetta will assist with business development efforts and will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects from pre-construction through closeout. Ciancetta will focus on the Higher Ed, K-12, and Corporate markets.

Prior to joining Consigli, Ciancetta worked at Turner Construction for 28 years.

Ciancetta holds an undergraduate degree from Manhattan College and a master’s degree in structural engineering from Clarkson University. He currently resides in Monroe, CT.

Jody Staruk joined Consigli in 2003 as a project engineer and has managed projects spanning public to private, small to large, fast-track to multi-year and complex renovations to new buildings. Her past work includes construction of the Garthwaite Center for Science and Art at the Cambridge School of Weston, a residence hall at Framingham State University and a residence and dining facility at Worcester State University. She is currently managing the renovation of Miller and Houston Halls at Tufts University.

Staruk has played a large role in the development of department operations for more than 14 years, helping Consigli evolve their processes and ensuring system efficiencies for projects and training. Staruk holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Phil Brault has been with Consigli for more than 11 years and has overseen some of the company’s most challenging and complex historic restoration projects including the New York State Capital building, the Boston Public Library Central Library and the renovation and expansion of Harvard University’s Gore Hall. Brault is currently managing construction of a four-building complex at the Tanglewood Music Center in the Berkshires. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an M.B.A. from Northeastern.
